Our selection process includes placing and monitoring ads, and personally meeting with prospective tenants. Before Oliver Property Management places a tenant, we check their credit rating, previous addresses, and for any Tenancy Tribunal disputes in the Tenancy Information NZ database. We also have access to information about how well they have treated their past homes.
We'll take care of all the documentation you need, like the Tenancy Agreement and Bond form, and have it safely stored. We'll then send a copy of the Bond form and payment to the Dept of Building & Housings Bond Centre.

Key changes in the 2010 Residential Tenancies Act, If Tenants abandon a rental Property with no reasonable excuse, this now becomes an unlawful act and a landlord can obtain compensation up to $1000, Tenancy can be terminated if Tenants assault or threaten a landlord/owner, or members of their family or agent, Landlords can immediately dispose of goods left behind at the end of a Tenancy.
LETTING FEES
Included in the 2010 Residential Tenancies Act is the ability for all Property Managers to Charge a letting fee along with Real Estate Company's.
Oliver Property Management will only charge an Admin Fee to Tenants of no more that $150, giving us a point of difference over Real Estate Company's.
